Pamela Rayner Moore is a captivating visual artist and storyteller with a passion for creating enriching narratives for young readers.
In her teaching career she taught in two languages on three continents, from preschool through high school. Middle school was her favourite. She finished her career in school administration. Her inspiration now, in retirement, stems from the desire to provide engaging stories that ignite curiosity and compassion in young people.

" My love of stories began when my mother would read us Australian classics like Snuggle Pot and Cuddle Pie by May Gibbs. My awareness of endangered species began with the gradual disappearance of bandicoots in our backyard. The love of landscape and nature grew even stronger as I grew up to explore the wild places along the midcoast of New south Wales. These images, smells and sounds have imprinted in my memory, a fertile ground for storytelling. "
